Andrés Arcia-Moret is a Senior Research Associate / EPSRC IAA Fellow at the Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge, UK. He is currently working in IoT Spectrum Monitoring for Smart Cambridge. He has worked as an Associate Professor during 12 years in Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Los Andes, in Mérida, Venezuela. He obtained his undergraduate degree and his Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Los Andes. He also holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the IMT Atlantique (former Institut Mines-Telecom/Télécom Bretagne), France. He has been a fellow researcher at the IRISA/CNRS in Rennes (France) and invited scientist in Guglielmo Marconi Laboratory at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy. His research interests are aimed at wireless networks, alternative network deployments and systems design.
