Carmen T. Chacón holds a Ph D. from The Ohio State University. She is currently a faculty member at the University of Los Andes “Pedro Rincon Gutierrez”.

Her publications focus on NonNative English Speaking teachers’ issues, Teaching EFL methodology,teacher efficacy, and Information and Communication Technology in teacher education.

She has published in the Journal of Teaching and Teacher Education, The NNEST Newsletter TESOL Caucus, EDUCERE, Entre Lenguas, and Acción Pedagógica.

She has co-authored books published by TESOL and Lawrence Erlbaum in the United States.
