Research Overview

My research focuses on medical imaging. The current work is centered on cardiac motion estimation based on 4-D Multi-Slice CT images. Previous research has been performed about quantitative analysis of 3-D and 4-D coronary arteries reconstructed by fusion between biplane angiograms and Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) images.

Additional research work is related to  left ventricle three-dimensional reconstruction from two orthogonal angiograms. The approach is based on Markov Random Field models, fuzzy theory and evidential data fusion.
