Undergraduate level I teach two courses of the electrical engineering undergraduate program of Universidad de Los Andes. Electronics III This is the third level electronics course where we teach several topics about electronic amplifiers as for instance, frequency response, feedback and stability, oscillators, power amplifiers, phase-locked-loop (PLL) and pulse width modulation. This is a basic course where we teach Boolean algebra. Minimization of Boolean functions, combinational building blocks, sequential circuit design, memories, programmable devices, FPGA and VHDL basics. Graduate Level I teach two courses of the Biomedical Engineering graduate program of Universidad de Los Andes. Biomedical Digital Signal Processing This graduate course includes several topics concerning the sampling of biomedical signals, filtering, power spectrum, analysis of random signals and applications, as for instance ECG signal processing. Medical Image Processing The topics in this course include the basic techniques for digital image processing, the physical principles and characteristics of medical imaging modalities, and advanced techniques including segmentation, knowledge representation and visualization.
